Denis Pelchat
Administrative Director and Co-owner
An amateur brewer since 2002, Denis is also involved in business management, holding a bachelor's degree in the field. He currently works as the head of the service department at TechnoDiesel. Denis brings seriousness to the team with his constant discipline, making him responsible for a lot of paperwork, but he still makes sure to be a great beer taster (what a tough job!). Above all, Denis always sees the glass half full, a talent we couldn’t do without! The kind of player you want on your team. He’s also an indefatigable athlete (cycling, volleyball, kayaking…). Originally from Beauce but living in St-Cuthbert for nearly 20 years, it’s safe to say his roots extend all the way to Berthierville, where he’ll be proud to share a beer with you!
David Sauvageau
Head brewer and co-owner.
An amateur brewer since 2004, David stays focused on the task at hand. In fact, it’s by accumulating a variety of experiences in the field that he’s become our expert. He’s worked several times with professional brewers (La Forge du Malt, La Chasse-Pinte, La Veillée, Le Prospecteur, Tadoussac) while continuing to brew regularly in 100L batches to perfect his craft. He also holds a bachelor's degree in science, which helps him satisfy his desire to uncover all the secrets of beer. His degree also serves him well in his work as a science teacher at high school level for over 10 years. Originally from Berthierville, you’ll likely see him lovingly (and carefully) cleaning a stainless-steel tank… yes, that’s part of the brewer's job too!
Dave Rondeau
Associate and collaborator brewer
An amateur brewer since 2012, Dave is a passionate microbrew enthusiast. And speaking of "micro," he could grab a microphone to sing some traditional tunes or engage in a beer discussion with you for hours. Naturally welcoming and warm, he knows how to make you feel at ease in no time. These talents are put to work as he builds connections within the Quebec brewing community for potential collaborations. He also knows how to apply these qualities in his role at Harnois Énergies, a company he's been with for almost 10 years. Also from Berthierville, he’ll be more than happy to enjoy a beer with you while discussing the subtleties of hops!
